Kenneth D. Rugeti

Mr. Rugeti has practiced in the field of forensic accounting for over 20 years and has testified as an expert witness in federal and state courts and arbitration.  After a successful career with some of the most respected accounting and financial consulting firms, Ken established Rugeti & Associates to build upon the reputation for accuracy, integrity and top-notch client service he is known for.  This passion serves as the foundation of the Firm’s values.

While Ken frequently serves as a consultant or expert witness for a particular party to a dispute, he is often chosen by both sides to a case, either as a stipulated neutral or under court appointment as a §730 Expert or Referee.

Ken is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and is Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) and Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).  He is a member of the AICPA and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA), for which he currently serves as a member of the Forensic Services Section Steering Committee.

Mr. Rugeti received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Finance Emphasis), magna cum laude, from the University of Southern California, and in doing so received the Wall Street Journal Student Achievement Award.

Evan W. Kilbourne

Mr. Kilbourne is a Manager, focusing his skills on development of clear and accurate analyses for our clients. Prior to joining Rugeti & Associates, Evan worked for a well-known international accounting firm in the advisory services practice, where he assisted clients ranging from small private businesses to large public companies. While completing his education, Evan assisted parties with low-income taxpayer controversy and facilitated a business statistics workshop for students at his university. Evan is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and is also Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) and Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He is a member of the AICPA and actively involved with the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA), both as a member and as chair of the Forensic Services Section of the Orange County/Long Beach chapter. He earned his M.S. in Financial Accounting, with distinction honors, from Cal Poly SLO University. Evan also holds a B.S. in Business Administration (Accounting Concentration), cum laude, from Cal Poly.

Tammy K. Horio

Ms. Horio is our Office Manager, providing administrative and client support for Rugeti & Associates and ensuring that daily operations run smoothly.

Tammy earned her Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Arizona and was the president of the Tau Beta Pi National Engineering Honor Society. She worked for a leading provider of global management and consulting for ten years as a quality assurance project manager on multiple financial services client engagements.

Pamela C. Njoku

As a Senior Consultant, Ms. Njoku brings diverse litigation consulting experience, individualized service and thoughtful analysis to the Firm and its clients. Prior to joining Rugeti & Associates, Pam worked for a Houston-based CPA firm in its forensic accounting practice.  

Pam received her Bachelor of Arts in Economics (Mathematics Track) with departmental honors from Pomona College and earned the Leland M. Backstrand Memorial Award in Economics.

Katelyn E. Pascucci

Ms. Pascucci is a Consultant, providing thoughtful, accurate and objective analyses, paired with the top-notch client service for which our firm is known.

Katelyn received her B.B.A. in Business Economics with honors from the University of San Diego. Throughout her time in college, Katelyn was involved in several organizations geared towards professional development, including Omicron Delta Epsilon— an international Economics Honors Society, Delta Sigma Pi — a business fraternity, and Student Finance Association.

While completing her education, Katelyn spent a year interning with a top 100 law firm in its litigation and corporate law departments, gaining exposure to a variety of legal settings. Her passion for business and data analytics, paired with her legal experience, makes her a natural fit for the needs of our clients.
